Yves I-Bing Cheng, M.D., M.A., is a physician who practices in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, as a family doctor. Married, he is the father of two children.

Originally from Taiwan, he and his family moved to Canada when he was five years old. He was educated in Quebec City and learned both English and French. He obtained his degree in medicine in 1986 from Laval University. While in medical school, he became a Christian after being introduced to the ministry of The Navigators of Canada.

His faith in God led him to temporarily leave his medical practice to begin theological studies. From 1995 to 1998, he attended the Briercrest Biblical Seminary in Saskatchewan, Canada, where he completed a master’s degree program in Christian Ministry with a specialization in counselling.

Since his return to Montreal in 1998, he has been serving the Lord in different Evangelical churches in the area.
